WWE Edge and Lita
Looking back, 2005 doesn’t really shine for me from a fan standpoint. Yes, there’s elevation for names like Cena and Batista. But they wouldn’t really grow into those roles for another year. And in the meantime, we’re seeing those guys – who hadn’t gained main event credibility – wiping the mat with guys who had long established themselves in the ring and with the fans (Jericho, Angle, Eddie, Christian, etc.). So that kinda turned me away a little. I still watched, I just watched while wincing a little.Images:
